While working for Jane Kim and The Fair Chance Initiative, I got a chance to make the acquaintance of a number of Supervicors for the City and County of San Francisco. During that time I made the Acquaintance of Dave Campos. He was a tireless champion of civil rights for the LGBTQ Community and his constituents in District 9 in San Francisco. After knowing Dave for a period of time, he decided to run for California Satate Assembly. The prototype graphics herein reflect some of the work I did for the campaign.
I wanted to create an ultra-modern look for Dave's campaign using some attention-grabbing Photoshop techniques which gave the work an official-looking shine that was befitting a political candidate's grace and stature.
After coming up with a cool Magma style lettering for Dave's last name I used some political-type graphics and the Photoshop Text-Bending tool to create a rounded lettering effect.
I then used a series of Photoshop techniques to skew and paint logos on the graphics that I mocked-up. I even used a T-shirt overlay template and Photoshop smart-objects to make a cool Hoodie.
One of my true loves is desktop publishing and I always love creating beautiful graphics using Photoshop. After a decade of working with Photoshop I am proud to say that I can do it justice by using my abilities to round-up and wrestle pixels into submission.
